It’s about the steps and breaths taken on distant surfaces and the clarity-of-thought that results. It’s about the anticipation of an interaction; then, making it a reality. It’s about unique, insular, highly adapted and less common critters in their native habitat. It’s about capturing meaningful moments that speak to me.  It's about defining moments with purpose as I identify a farthest step from home; and, prepare to return. It’s about the people I have met along the way.
